Case Study

The Ministry of Labour formed the “Saudi Employment Strategy” to be a frame of reference to treat issues of manpower and employment in the Kingdom according to integrated methodical and scientific principles and a clear vision to achieve the desired objectives. This is to take place over a period of 25 years distributed over three stages: short-term stage, medium-term stage, and long-term stage.

The strategy is based on a vision that aims to provide enough and suitably-paid job opportunities, thereby employing the Saudi human resources in full and achieving a competitive advantage for the national economy.  Joatha was commissioned by MOL to undertake the advisory work of preparing the strategy, reviewing it with stakeholders including the private sector.
